How the Lympha Press Works

Simply place the sleeve on the patient's arm or leg. A special, one-cell boot is always worn with with the leg sleeve. Once the LymphaPress pump is turned on, adjust the pressure dial to suit individual tolerance. LymphaPress treatment should be performed while the patient is in a reclining position, or with feet elevated. Using physiological principles, the sleeve is sequentially inflated distally to proximally. When the entire sleeve is filled with air, all the cells empty themselves automatically and simultaneously, and the cycle begins again.

LymphaPress is unique

The Overlapping of the air compartments within the sleeve guarantees a gradient pressure and prevents any gaps between the functioning compartments.

LymphaPress works

LymphaPress is successful in treating lymphedema of the lower limbs, as well as the upper limbs of postmastecomy patients. Clinical tests reveal a 36% to 70% reduction of girth and volume in 80% of postmastecomy lymphedema patients who use LymphaPress.5 It is the unique cycle of LymphaPress that accounts for this maximal reduction edema.
